Our first wedding gig!
Jon Blakeney and his his wife Fabiola got married at a church in Turnham Green and the Sid James Experience played at the reception, which was held in The Orangery in Acton Park.
The plan was to switch over to Sarge playing drums for the full set with Chris on vocals and harmonica. But Sarge broke his arm just before the gig so James Paget (a friend of Jon & Pete’s from Bournemouth College) stepped in to play drums.
No one can remember the set we played but it was probably similar to the one we played at John Seymour’s party.
